Hello Everyone,
My first 3d printer was an ender 3 pro, which I got around 2 years ago. With that I also started accumulating lots of filament and needed an easy way to store it. I had some PVC pipe laying around the house and used that as a basis for my design. I created some simple brackets and hangers and they are shown printed in red. This design in the most simple sense worked but had lots of room for improvement. Instead of improving it I spent most of my time working my my ender 3 until about a year later upgrading to a Prusa MK3s+. This printer was much more reliable so I was then able to work on improving my design instead of my printer all the time. I added a second PVC pipe so the filament could be stored on top. This allowed for the elimination of the hanger system thus leading to a more efficient use of the space. The brackets were then modified for strength and print speed, by switching from a square shape to a triangle. Its still not perfect and I still intend to make adjustments in the future. Recently I upgraded to a Bambu Labs P1S and with the reliability and speed that offers, it will make prototyping and testing designs a nice and relativity simple process. This overall improved my modeling and design skills and I feel like its a good example of how 3d printing can be used to solve problems.

This is a simple bar that designed to hold the excess hangers in my closet. I deiced to make it because the only open spot in my closet for hangers has really annoying geometry. I then realized after making it that I could also use it as a much easier mode of transporting hangers compared to just carrying them.
