Beard Bowtie!

Calling all bearded men!. For when a bowtie is just the thing for those extra formal occasions. Has these features --

• Relatively simple single 25 minute print. 
• Has semi-realistic 3D ruffles!
• Hole for a “bobby pin” which is what holds it to your beard hair.
• Perfect for those “fun shots” at weddings or other formal occasions.
• Fairly quick to put on/take off. Not uncomfortable. Fits discretely in a pocket.

Printing

I suggest printing this in black, but of course you do you. Only 6g of filament and 2m, so you can do this even with an almost empty roll. Once printed, I found that using a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the bows from the filament worked well, then the center piece should break free. 

Usage and Assembly

This requires a bobby-pin that you need to source. I have no idea about these things, but my daughter had a million of them. For reference, the ones I used were approximately 45mm long. There is a hole in the base that the flat side goes thru. Don't stab yourself doing this, the safe way is to align it to the hole then push it on a table. It might be a little tight getting the blobby end thru the hole, but it should go in ok. 

To attach to the beard I think there are possibly several techniques you can use. I like to open the bobby pin slightly so that it catches more hair and then side swipe it into place. To remove, you can generally just pull it off, but if it is catching on a hair or two it might be best to open the pin up a little.
