Toilet Paper Spindle Replacement

This is a replacement for the standard toilet paper roll holder / spindle. This replaces the spindle that sits in the middle of the roll. It uses the spring from the original holder and the two halves push together the same way. I aimed to replicate the dimensions of the original / default holder as close as possible.

Works with the skinny and long spring (17mm x 165mm), or with the shorter and wider version.

My original holder was stained by rust from the spring, but I also didn't like the color. This designed allowed me to replace all my holders with a nice black holder.

I designed it with tight and loose tolerance profiles for PLA. The tight one requires decent force and twisting to get the halves together, but the two halves are less likely to pop apart while off the holder. If you are using PETG I recommend printing using the tight profile.
