Description

I love using poker chips to replace currency in a variety of board games, it's a game-changer for ease of transaction, tactility, and speed :)
Clay chips are much heavier and satisfying to use compared to any 3d printed chip IMO.

I wanted a convenient way to store and sort all of my chips, so I designed 2 custom trays that fit perfectly in a box design from RDesigns. I also modified it to support a convenient handle from Tycho Design which uses M4x16 Screw and nut (but you can edit the handle to use other screw lengths if you wish).

Dimension per chip: 40.00mm diameter, 3.35mm height.

I have 400 of these to store comfortably with 1 spare capacity per holding area.
but when fully populated, it can store 416 Poker Chips.

Assembly instructions:

  1. Print everything
  2. Put raw TPU filament in the o-ring slots of the body (this makes the locking mechanism more satisfying and click in. If you don't have TPU, you can find non-tpu lockpieces on the original box page).
  3. Thread raw PETG or other tough filament into the hinge holes between Lockpieces and Roller inserts (4x). Do the same for lockpiece to lid, and lid to body.
  4. Insert M4 Nut into body hole and screw in M4x16 Screw into handle piece.
  5. Put in your chips and trays. Enjoy!
