Description

Vango Tent Guy Rope Tensioner & Loop Repair

Many of the guy rope plastic parts on our Vango tent failed after very little use so I created my own improved stronger parts.

The original tensioners go brittle in the UV from the sun and the rings snap in a light breeze!!

My tensioner is a copy of the original just slightly beefier!

The hoops I thought about replacing with a stainless steel washer but they rubbed through the guy rope so I created snap rings that fit around an M12 washer to give a more rounded edge and prevent rubbing.

I recommend you use stainless steel washers to avoid rust marks getting on your tent.
