Description
The lid has successfully undergone extensive testing among colleagues and family. If properly fitted, it can even withstand overturned beer bottles, venting excess pressure through a strategically placed hole. While primarily intended for cleaning, this added benefit is certainly welcome.
The sealing ring is readily available and requires no extra purchase. Simply remove the gasket from a bottle cap.
I incorporated a hole in the lid design because most users will 3D print the closure from PLA or PETG, materials not dishwasher-safe, unlike the gasket itself. A toothpick can be used to remove and then dishwasher-clean the seal.
