Description

Simple Coupler for Airsoft MP5 magazines I made for my CYMA mags.

It uses 2 M3x30mm bolts/screws(can accept longer), and has holes for nuts as redundancy(plastic should provide all the necessary grip as you screw things in)

Please note that I put electrical tape on the mags and couplers to provide friction. If you do not use any material to aid in friction, the mags will just slide all over the place, as you can expect from smooth plastic touching smooth metal.

Please note that there is a little cut out in each half above the screw/nut holes so that you know which way each half should be facing(holes on the same side is correct)

Printing Tips:

1.No need for supports, as whatever benefit they might give you is vastly outweighed by the annoyance of removing them.

2. I recommend to avoid rectilinear and grid infills, as they are, from my field experience, more prone to snapping if you are being rough.

3. If your print shrinks vertically its ok to add a bit of a vertical scaling to the object to keep it proportional, but it will be just for cosmetics.

4. As most things in airsoft, I recommend using PETG as it usually accepts a bit more elastic stress than PLA. No experience with any other materials but would be interested in feedback.
