Magnetic Cable Anchors/Holders

Moin Servus Moin, I designed some simple magnetic cable anchors/holders for easy cable management. Suited for a clean cable management under a desk. The Base is designed to be screwed into the underside of a desk and the Top connects magnetically to the base. If you have some metal bracing under your desk you can use for cable management you don't need to print the Base.

The Magnets must be glued in otherwise they get pulled out. Before glueing check the polarity of that the magnets in the Base so that they don't repel the magnets in the Top.

Magnets needed:

• 5mm x 1mm -> Small Base and Top
• 6mm x 2mm -> Large Base and Top
• 10mm x 3mm -> XL & XXL Base and Top

Screws needed for the Base:

• Flat Head 2mm x 10mm

Supports

Supports are only needed for the XXX_Top.stl files. 

Support X/Y Distance of 2-3 times the line width of your printer is recommended to use.

Modify

The dimensions of the magnet holes can easily be resized and customized with the provided Fusion360 (.f3d) file.
