Description

A gear Clock which is funktional

it might need lubrication oil.

The top gears are powered by the second hand gear. The hour hand and minute hand are operated by the clockwork via the large gears.

If you want to print it, wait for the instructions for assembling. I am currently creating it

Very interesting design, here is some feedback: 1. The backplate from the picture is missing from the 3mf file 2. The gear on the bottom left of the file does not appear in the image 3. The clock "face" (where the numbers are displayed) is hidden by the two big gears. Would you consider changing the design to bring the clock face to the front and add a main plate behind the whole thing? I would very much like to print it :)

hi thanks for your feedback. I'm still trying to improve the design as there are still a few more problems. the gears are still a bit jammed (except the second hand), which is why the clock motor is not turning the gears properly. I can add the missing parts but it will take some time until I get it working properly.

I sanded all the parts again, but it still seems like the motors are too weak, which is why this model unfortunately remains partly unfunctional. 😞 It might work if you made the gears thinner, had better print quality or used ball bearings, but I don't have any, and I don't have any motivation anymore because it doesn't work properly despite so much work. (Edit: the problem could also be due to the wobblyness of the gears)
