These work really well, great job. I made a caddy to hold 10 of them just to keep them organized in my cabinet. Link in case anyone else is interested: https://makerworld.com/en/models/875205#profileId-827818

I was using a paper towel folded over as an air gap for my vacuum sealing bags I use for filiment storage. This model was exactly what I was looking for as a permanent, and professional look for my filament storage needs. The print came out great and they work so much better than the paper towel methods. I ended up switching all my filament stored in vacuum storage bags to incorporate this model and ended up printing over 40 of them. Thank you for your contributions to the community.

My P1S often drags the filament behind it because it doesn't release from the silicone part, resulting in unsightly flaws as seen on the edge, otherwise I am more than satisfied

You dropped a star because of a calibration issue with your printer? That seems absurdly unfair. The model is essentially perfect.

They didn’t say they docked the print a star because of their printing issue.

Sure… I guess you’re technically correct, but they offered only a single criticism, so it’s a fair assumption. Do you have a different theory?

Can recommend this top glass handle cover. And it also works for vacuum bags, btw

you can increase xy hole compensation and it probably would. download Orcaslicer and run their calibrations. likely your printer isn't producing dimensionally accurate prints

It worked. I also designed a storage container compatible with the skadis board.

Do you have a link to the container for Skadis? Thanks in advance.

Functions flawlessly yet offers no improvement over a null configuration

I agree. I used one (the vacuum bag) for the first time yesterday and it was a PIA to get it to start vacuuming

that's a shitty vacuum bag. I have found a ton of poor quality vacuum bags have flooded Amazon lately. I bought three different packs from three different sellers and none of them would start vacuuming, not a single bag. I have to carefully poke around in the valve to create a path for the air to escape, and then stick it back down and hope that it stays sealed. Most of them end up holding but it is a huge pain in the ass to do all that messing around for each bag.

Friend, in the photo, your vacuum cleaner has a square hole, and you made an adapter for it to fit a round hole, right? I need this STL model, please :)

The result is pretty good, but I found that using corrugated cardboard works just as well. Thanks to the creator for the idea!

These are great and I use them all the time. I made a container for them as the existing models I found did not have a secure enough lid. If anyone is interested the link can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1754119-vacuum-ring-container-with-screw-cap-for-45mm-ring#profileId-1865218
