I designed this ball so i was able to mount a Carplay device on my motorycle, i got tired of waiting for the delivery of the product so i made my own!

 

Can be printed ir whatever material you want, the profile is set PLA for simplicity but i made them in PLA to test and also ASA to use daily!

This is what I could salvage since the rest was spaghetti. It needs a brim for stability

Sorry to hear that, you could always just add a bring to printing profile, i have it on mine but makerworld does not let me upload custom profiles for some reason. :(

Not the best finish, especially on the bottom of the ball, but oh well, once the ram mount is installed on it, you don't really see it! So it will probably do the job well in my projects!

Im sorry to read that, but I’m more than 100% sure that’s its user error. Make sure You have the correct profile for your printer and your filament selected. I print multiple of these a day, and also have a lot of other people that do and there’s no issues

Do two things. First, in the Prepare Tab of Bambu Studio, move the model to the far left of the print plate (get it close to the cooling fan). Second, also in the Prepare Tab (set to Advanced settings), adjust overhang speed to 20mm/s. This will allow you to print this model perfectly! Hope this helps!!!

done a multi print of 6 but they knocked each other if the plate. not sure if was my fault not tried to reprint yet

I’ve printed a lot with no issues. But if you have the slightest bed adhesion problem that can cause one to knock all the others. Experiment using a brim to ensure they stay in place
