Description:
This is a full 3D model set for a Cabinet Door Rail System—perfect for sliding cabinet doors. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast or just looking to add a custom touch to your cabinetry, this setup has all the parts you’ll need for a smooth, sturdy rail system. This version is made to be easy to assemble and can be scaled to fit different cabinet sizes.
Highlights:
- Complete Package: All the components you need for a working rail system.
- Simple Assembly: Designed with ease of assembly in mind. The screw lip allows for the doors to be placed externally to the cabinet walls, in a "hanging over" style. A second design will be made where the screws are under the door (in the rails) for more standard door fixture placement.
- Flexible Sizing: Can be adjusted to fit a range of cabinet dimensions. The 50mm file enables you to extend and make your own length, where the 200mm enables you to print the maximum length based on the P1S plate size.
- Screw Dimension: This was designed with standard wood screw sizing. Additional screw sizing can be requested, and I will upload as a variation.
- Version 1.0: This is the first release with all the basics for standard setups.
- 6.00mm Rail Spacing: This is ideal for material lower than 6.00mm (5.80mm - 5.9mm)
- 6.20mm Rail Spacing: This has some tolerance to allow a 6.00mm material to slide easily. (5.9mm - 6.10mm)
Printing Tips:
For best results, print the parts with higher infill to keep them strong—especially if they’ll be used a lot. PLA+ and ABS are great options, but feel free to experiment with other durable materials!
- Due to the lip enabling a ‘hang-over’ door configuration, ideal print position is flat which will strengthen the base. This does come at a compromise that the rail walls will be weaker, which is why a 2.00mm rail wall thickness is applied.
