This 3D-printed fume extractor is designed to protect you from harmful fumes during soldering and other electronics work. Compact and efficient, it’s an essential addition to any workspace for DIY electronics, providing a safer environment while you work.

 

The extractor uses a replaceable carbon filter to capture harmful particles and a 12V fan to draw fumes away from your workspace. The magnetic assembly enables easy access to the filter for quick replacement, making maintenance simple.

Assembly instructions:

Insert the fan into the housing and thread the wires through the bottom hole.

Attach the filter housing by screwing it to the fan housing using 4 M4x30 screws, and insert 4 magnets into the designated holes (use glue if they are too loose).

Similarly, insert 4 magnets into the designated spots in the filter cover.

Connect the housing to the filter cover, and insert the support leg into the housing (use glue if necessary).

Attach the foot of the fume extractor.

Insert the button, the PCB with the DC port (glue it if necessary), and connect the fan cable to the PCB.

Close the housing by adding the TPU base.
