NHL COASTER
I'm trying to create a coaster for every active and legendary player.
Chris Nilan - Right Wing (No. 30)
Chris Nilan, born on February 30, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts, is a former right winger and an iconic player for the Montreal Canadiens. Drafted by the Canadiens in 1978 (6th round, 128th overall), he made his NHL debut in 1979.
Nilan is best known for his physical style of play and his role as a “tough guy” within the team. He was ready to defend his teammates on the ice and fight opponents, which made him a respected and beloved player among fans.
During his career in Montreal, Nilan was a member of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1986. He was also recognized for his offensive contributions, achieving several seasons with more than 20 points.
After his playing career, Nilan continued in sports media and became a radio host in Quebec, continuing to share his passion for hockey. His legacy with the Montreal Canadiens is marked by his dedication and fighting spirit, and he remains a cherished figure among hockey fans.
