I have been having a hard time soldering the LED with the jumps due to many movements that make me solder my hand with the table. None of the solutions that I found were proper to my case, I wanted something straight forward that holds the jumpers in its place and center the jumper rod exactly into the soldering point of the LED.

 

This connector comes in 3 pins formats: 1-pin, 2-pins and 3-pins. It also comes in two design formats: LED to Jumper and LED to LED

 

The original file is provided, so that you create your format in the way you like. Basically, you only need to copy & paste the jumper object and maximize it based on your dimensions and pins number.

 

The LED placement is suitable for any LED that has 1 to 3 pins with the width of 10mm.

 

Print suggestions:

  • Infill: 10%
  • Support: None.
  • Nozzle head: 0.4 is optimal.

 

How-to:

  1. Print the desired pin-connector.
  2. Push the jumper into it.
  3. Place the LED into its place.

 

Available formats:

  • Print profile
  • STL exported models
  • Original design in Fusion360 environment

 

Remixes, Editing and publishing:

  • You're allowed to download, print and modify the exported models based on your needs.
  • You're allowed to modify the original design and implement your own modifications.
  • You're allowed to publish the new modifications in the form of a remix or a new model.

 

 

I support the open sourcing of original designs and encourage the contribution in such way. Please do credit me when using the design for your base, or remixing when not referencing this model.
