Description

Did the button on your pants pop off and you lack the sewing equipment and/or skills to sew it back on? Fear not for you can now print a replacement button that requires no sewing! It's a simple two-piece design with a screw-on fastener in the back. Simply punch a small hole (a pair of scissors worked well for me to make the hole) just large enough to push the fastener thread through and screw the button into place. It should stay pretty secure but feel free to use glue on the threads if desired.

Nothing special as far as printing is concerned. Just print both models as oriented. I used 3 walls and 15% infill.

Note that it holds up well in a cold water wash and through a dryer cycle with standard PLA but I haven't tested with hot water. This should be printable in resin as well but I haven't tried that.

Be sure to post your makes! If you like the design, please consider tipping on Ko-fi. Thank you! :-)
