Description

I have updated the original earrings to make the corners more round. Print with .2 nozzle for better detail.

Created these Christmas Tree Cake Earrings in tinkercad. Print face down for better results.

nice model however it probably serves best to print with a 0.2 nozzle. I also got black spots on the print for some odd reason. I have had this happen to me in the past with another model from someone else.

I don't know what causes the black spots. I am still new to 3d printing. I did create a new profile for .4 nozzles. I made it a little thicker and made the sprinkles a little bigger.

the black spots are from a dirty bed or maybe AMS screwed up or you left some stuff on the build plate you could try washing your bed with warm water and dish soap

I wish they were a little thicker because I had some trouble with the loop at the top breaking but I printed doubles and glued them together and that helped but I love them so much

You can make them thicker in Bambu Studio if you just increase the Z height

Thanks for the rating. Using the .2 nozzle i didn't have any issues with the loop, but I just tried printing with the .4 I had the same problem. I adjusted the z height and scaled the negative loop part down slightly and it worked for me.

I really love these. I made them into earrings. I did find it was better to print them and put them back to back and super glue them together so that they were a little sturdier I did have trouble with my first one with the loops at the top breaking but after I did that it was okay

Thanks for the comment. I didn't notice that issue when i was using my .2 nozzle, but when printing with my .4 I had the same issue with the loops. I am adding a new profile that i have been using with my .4. I increased the z height and scaled the negative loop part down to my the loops more sturdy. Hopefully that works for you.
