Description
I saw this video, about how the author of Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll was able to write in the dark with the help of only a little template like this.
There's even a Page on Wikipedia about it!
You use the squares as a guide to write square letters within.
I can imagine it also being used to write some “encoded” letters for a role playing campaign or to go onto some cosplay props.
