Custom Jack O'lantern Creator - OpenSCAD

Carve your own pumpkin with this custom Jack O'lantern OpenSCAD script! Make a face from simple shapes, use text with fonts(including emojis), or upload a SVG.

This script is currently in beta and any feedback is appreciated.

10/7/24 0.4 Update:

• New default is open bottom pumpkin with opening just big enough for tea light (61mm in customizer)
• Reorganize parameters in customizer
• Revamped 3mf file with tea light compatible designs
• Added new color integration

Usage

• Choose graphic type between face, text, and SVG
• Adjust pumpkin and stem shape by adjusting individual parameters or global scale.
• Choose top and bottom types for the pumpkin (default is connected top and open bottom)

Multiple fonts available (including emojis). View available fonts by selecting the code tab in customizer and selecting the libraries and fonts button (next to save).

To use emojis 

• Use “Noto Emoji” as font
• Copy emoji from Google Fonts

Experimental features

• Alignment peg for the top to connect easier to the pumpkin (doesn't apply to connected top)
• Inside base for light with options for lip or cutout (doesn't apply to open bottom)
• Curved text

• Better fit and adjustable tolerances for the pumpkin top(3mf file updated).
• Choose if you want the pumpkin hollow or solid (solid example added to 3mf).
