The Dry & Dry Pouring Funnel - 1 Quart Bottle Version

UPDATE: I have released a new funnel that offers a fully adjustable spout. It allows you to determine the best spout orientation for your needs. Here's a link:

NOTE: There are now 3 unique models as a result of Dry & Dry not using the same thread start on bottles purchased in other countries. This difference causes the funnel to not tighten in the correct orientation (facing forward). I have had reports that some bottles purchased online in the U.S. and Canada do not conform to the above, so if you are concerned, print the Adjustable version.

U.S. version fits 1 QT. Dry & Dry bottles purchased in the U.S.
Canada version fits 1 QT. Dry & Dry bottles purchased in the Canada
Adjustable version fits 1 QT. Dry & Dry bottles purchased anywhere and allows you to tighten the funnel in any orientation you prefer.

This is an updated new and improved version of my very popular pouring funnel. If you have the original I highly recommend you print and use this version. I made the original version after making mess a mess using a standard funnel. After making one that screws directly on the Dry & Dry bottle, I had no more funnel mishaps! However, there's always room for improvement and this funnel offers several. Simply screw on this funnel and enjoy a controlled pouring experience! No more spilling gel pellets all over the place endangering children and pets.

Now with a “squarish” funnel shape that fits inside smaller AMS desiccant boxes.

NOTE:

This was designed and tested on the Dry & Dry 1 Quart (2lbs.) bottle.
Depending on how dialed in your printer is with your filament you may need to clean up some overhang stringing on the threads.

Canada - Dry & Dry 1 Qt. Pouring Funnel

Overall design printed well. I printed the Canadian version for a 2lb bottle purchased from Amazon Canada. The threading of the funnel still didn't line up to point forward. I may try to print the non Canadian version to see if that works. The funnel still works remarkably well pouring from the side so I don't mind it really.

Wow! These threads are becoming a moving target after being the same since I made these funnels. You're the first Canadian purchased bottle that the Canadian version didn't fit. I'm wondering now if Amazon has a mix of both the U.S. and the Canadian versions they ship. Yes, try the non-Canadian version see if that works for you.

Looks great. It does't quiet fit on the bottle, it spins all the way around and never "catches".

No offense taken. I only asked these questions because one other user had a problem where it rotated exactly 180 from facing forward. Turns out he purchased his in Canada and I'm guessing they may have a local bottle supplier that has a different thread. In your case, I'm concerned that perhaps they may have changed the threads with a new bottle OR the blue desiccant uses a different bottle then the orange desiccant (but that seems unlikely to me). So, I'd like to help get this resolved for you. May help if someone else ends up with the same issue. If you are up for it, I'd be happy to modify one for you to get it to fit. Not having the bottle you have would me you'd have to describe in specifics how it doesn't fit, by how much, and then test the redesigned model. Let me know if you are up for this. No worries if you are not. I fully understand. Also, as an alternative you could print my original version of this and see if you have better success. In any event, appreciate the feedback and effort.

@YelTrikDesigns was super nice to collaborate with together to figure out the orientation change needed to fit this onto the weirder bottles Dry & Dry uses in Canada (and possibly other countries). Printed the Canada version and fits super well.

U.S. - Dry & Dry 1 Quart Pouring Funnel Silica Desiccant

Printed in black ABS with very slight fuzzy skin to give a textured look. Upsized .20% to account for shrinkage. This is way better than a regular funnel to fill my AMS desiccants. Threads are done perfectly and it clocks in line with the bottle.
