Description

Version 2.0 is now available here

https://makerworld.com/en/models/715718

V2 has some improvements. However if you don't want to embed the magnets, V1 still works great!

  1. Embedded magnets (pause a layer to push in the magnets)
  2. Thicker overall to perform better in heat or cold
  3. Additional mounting hole for single 2x4 mounting

Outdoor dog poop bag dispenser.

  • Holds three standard poop bag rolls
  • Magnetic lid and base requires 4x 8mm x 2mm thick magnets
  • Side holes allow for quick inventory and stuffing your finger in there removes the cardboard roll core
  • Two holes in the base back for mounting options. One screw is all that's really needed.
  • No matter what your partner says, do it the right way and load the bag roll with the bags coming off the top of the roll (over method)
    • * I was just being funny above, however after a week of using this, it actually works better with the roll coming off the bottom ;)

Print in PETG, ASA or ABS for outdoor use. No supports required.

printed my in ASA for improved weather resistance. probably overkill, but it was a fun project. took a couple tries because I had some issues with warping despite printing with a P1S, but I think the final product turned out nicely! I love the design!

That looks great! I’m working on a version 2 with an embedded magnet option. Coming soon

The fit and finish of this bag dispenser is perfect! Other than my orange turned brown on the lid (nobody’s fault there) I’m completely happy with how this turned out. Kudos to the designer!

8mm x 2mm are the correct size. I’ll update the description.

do you need to glue the magnetic into the box? or just push them in and they would stay put?

I suggest that you glue them in. I have a v2 that embed the magnet in (pauses print at layer) if you like. I should be publishing a v3 with 4 larger embedded magnets and a few other upgrades early next week. I'm still testing this V3 model.

Use high quality magnets and check polarity of the magnets to ensure they are not repeling each other.

this is awesome! I don't know if you have plans for further adjustments but a ziptie compatible version would be awesome for those of us averse to making holes in things :P
