Description

For the first time ever, I would like to share my One-of-a-Kind, Rocket Roller Fidget!!!!

Experience the ultimate in anxiety relief and entertainment with our innovative Roller Fidget. Designed with precision and creativity, this fidget STANDS OUT for its unique, cylindrical shape and SUPPORT-FREE 3D printing.

Key Features:

  • No extra part required to print and use
  • Lightly Knurl texture on the outside.

Support-Free Printing:

  • Enjoy hassle-free, 3D printing with a design requiring NO additional supports, parts or glue!
  • Easy and efficient to both print and assemble

Effective Anxiety Relief:

  • The ridged outer shell with its rotating inner core provides a satisfying tactile experience
  • Not only does it relieve anxiety, it also keep kids entertained and focused during school or car rides!

Positive Feedback:

  • Friends and family who have tested the Rocket Roller, praise its effectiveness in reducing daily stressors and ability to engage children
  • A must-have for both adults and kids alike!

Versatile Sizes and Colors:

  • There are two different sizes: Medium (great for adults) and Small (perfect for children)
  • Use the profile suggested colors and painting, or choose your own colors to make it your own!

I can't wait to see your prints, so please post LOTS!

Because this print has very close tolerances, I recommend the flow calibration and bed leveling before printing.

The .016mm layer height is the only one it works well with.

I have printed them at .20mm and it was a noticeable difference…it did not shorten the print time, so it's really not worth it!

Assembly:

Simply peel the brim off of the connector
(I used a textured plate so I gave the inner surface of both halves of the roller ball a quick sand so they fit tighter)

- I added two connector to the profile. I drop things regularly and it's nice to have an oops backup ready :)

Insert the connector into one half of the roller ball.

Place the second half onto the other side of the connector and push them together.

I have not used any glue and have not had any problems, but if you are going to use glue it should be sparingly applied!

I also place the ball assembly between my palm and the counter top and give it a little push to make sure its good and tight, with both halves fully touching.

Take the assembled ball and place it on top of the roller body.

Gently push them together - it will pop right in!

My son can build it without any difficulty and a little force.

Place the roller part of the fidget against your other palm and roll it in all directions.

This will set the ball, and smooth out the surfaces inside.
Shortly it will spin and spin and spin! The more its used, the faster it can spin.

People generally like just holding it, moving the roller around with their thumbs or ‘spin flicking’ the roller to see how long they can get it to spin for!

The short paint line of contrasting color at the bottom of the 2 roller halves adds a great effect. I highly recommend it!

-Bambu Gold Silk with Bambu Black Basic PLA and Bambu Glow in the Dark Filament's

My absolute favorite is Bambu Black Basic PLA with the Bambu Green Glow in the Dark filament. It's a fantastic combination!

I have only printed this in PLA, but pretty sure that PETG will be even better. Let me know in the comments!

I have also embedded a fun little Rocket graphic on the bottom of the print, cause it looks really FUN :)

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my design!

Really excellent and unique fidget toy. The smoothness of the marble with the scarf seam is something to be seen to be believed!

Love the entire design! Random question; would it be possible to make the roller body with a spiky stim exterior?

That would be baller! My spouse likes the “little ouchie” style sharp spikes. I’ve seen a few that twist but nothing like your ball design.
