Description

This is a simple footrest for the Woom Bike 1. It allows a child to easily rest their feet during the ride, thus learning to maintain balance more quickly. Printed in PLA, it incorporates threaded inserts and uses M3x16 screws.

In itself a good idea and certainly well executed Unfortunately there seem to be two different seat post diameters With our thin version a secure mounting is not possible

Hey that seems to be a new model if you measure the diameter I can adjust it

Thanks for the updated version! The assembly was a bit tricky. In the end I turned the footrest 90 degrees to screw in the major part of the screws and when it was getting tight I turned it back and did the last few turns with the Allen key. I hope our daughter likes it.

Glad it worked, looks good! My daughter just needed a few rides to get the hang of it

A truly excellent idea and well-executed Unfortunately, with Bambulab PLA, the dimensional accuracy between the two elements wasn't quite right for me Nevertheless, thank you for the model and a boost for your work :-)

hi, the bracket seems to be M4 while the other end has M3 threads... one side does not need threads but through holes. otherwise great project!

it should be the right version. did you realize you need to insert the threaded inserts with a soldering iron? There is no thread printed

Hi David, thanks for the model. It works perfectly fine on my kids bike. QQ. Would it be okay with you if I remix this to work with zip ties? I feel a lot of people will not have threaded inserts and screws at hand. Cheers

any way you can flip the screw locations? it’s really challenging to get it threaded from the rear wheel.
