wonderful print and thanks a lot for sharing this. I have a standing desk and my feet extend at the bottom. my solution was to use the bottom part and use the other part as a negative part in the slicer to get a part between. I designed a kind of sleeve for the bottom feed and used double sided tape in case cables pull on it. @CobaltRift maybe a solution for your table aswell?

will you be uploading the adapter you designed?

Just found out my table also extends from the bottom. How did you design and get the in between parts to be connected to each other? Also, any chance you will share the sleeve you designed? Very new to printing so any advice would be helpful.

The telescoping piece is reversed on the desk I'm building, instead it extends up from the feet rather than in your example desk where it extending up out the top of the leg. I really like the look of your design. Do you think it's reversible, mounted upside down with the flexible part at the base? If not, what changes do you think would need to be made to make it work for a desk like mine? I was planning to print in white PETG, any concerns with my material choice?

Unfortunately I can't think of an easy way to adapt my design to your particular desk.

Thanks for giving it some thought. Your design looks great though.

honestly, I think you could just place it a little far away from the desk leg, and the result would almost be the same. Good luck!

Love your open design, is there anyway you can adapt this so your chain fits the following model? I have grommets that I want to take advantage of but my current chain doesn't work with my table mounted extension lead. https://www.printables.com/model/55276-standing-desk-cable-chain

I created and added a grommet version in the downloadable step file section. I have not printed one of these myself so you'll have to play around with print settings.

Also from the print I did from the main profile, some feedback would potentially be more flexibility? is there plans (or is there currently) a version where you can rotate both back and forwards, rather than one direction?

Got this printed for a FlexiSpot E7 desk. Used a total of 17 links. Just print 9 more links after printing all plates. Gotta be careful assembling the links though, use thick gloves, it might snap at you like it did at me. Used the modified model to attach it to openGrid. I love it! Looks very cool and clean!

Great print! I was able to print this out very cleanly and even made a foot model based on another posters comment. I also created an alteration to the desk side of the drag chain to mate up with openGrid and expanding snaps for Underware 2.0 that I will be posting soon. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2249711-parametric-drag-chain-foot-to-sit-stand-desk Thanks for the model!
