Description:

Version 3 of my riser design for the top glass of the P1S, X1C and X1. Added an attachment to be able to mount the riser onto the glass handle in order to gain stability, and most significantly added a hinge to be able to close the glass flush without needing to remove the riser and risk misplacement.

I really like that the extra feature is that it extends the handle to lift the glass. Quick and simple print, very smooth rotation. I don't love that it overhangs the front of the case when not in use though. Kind of wish that it could fold backwards onto itself instead but that would be a more complicated hinge.

Tried printing it with Transprent PETG. It separated from the bed after 80% the first time. Then managed to print it a bit slower and with a brim. The hinge was fused together, and when trying to separate it, it broke weirdly. It's still functional though. Probably more of an issue with me messing with the print settings and not the model's fault.

Easy print on my x1c and works as designed. I have the AMS on top of the printer, so grabbing the glas to rise it is a little difficult due to the weight and not having a designated spot to grab it. But still, works as designed so 5 stars. Thanks! P.S. First print with a new filament brand so not as clean as my other prints but that has nothing to do with this model or print profile. Just in case someone is wondering.

It works, printed on my p2s I know it is meant for P1s and that is why Im still giving 5 stars but it rubs on the screen a little but it still works
