Description

The Temple of Heaven ( 天坛) is a complex of imperial religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The model presented here is called Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (祈年殿) in this complex. It is built on marble stone base, where the Emperor prayed for good harvests. The building has a height of 36m.
I designed the model with 1:140 ratio and try to keep the fine details based on the printer resolutions. The hall has three-tiered circular structure, with each level having its own roof and base that can be printed separately. All the parts from top to bottom are connected using the square pins.

For Assembling different levels, make sure to align the pillars at each level:

For Bottom base, there are three sides with doors and 7 sides with windows. Make sure the three sides with windows put at front to align with the name board on top level. Also, align the middle door with the base stairs.

I used the Bambu lab PLA (red matte, blue, ice blue and gold) to print this model. The base is recommended to print with marble PLA.

Looks great. A kind reminder, you probably forget to take off the supports on the bottom roof 😁

【A1打印】 成品尺寸合适,底座刚刚好。 [A1 Print] The finished product is the right size and the base is just right.

Overall good, but the dragon's decoration has only three claws, is it missing a claw?

Thank you for your support! The fourth claw is located under the front of the body, and is less visible. It may be difficult to see due to resolution issues.

I have reduced the size of the banner to 60% after checking the real thing.

The plaque needs a redesign as it's currently difficult to install, and adhesive isn't very convenient. The central positioning shaft should be designed as a round shaft for better installation and alignment

In the blue part of the upper section of the red main body the three golden circles two arrow shapes and the circular blue lines need revision The Bambu Lab slicer only creates a very thin layer for these resulting in poor print quality and damaged graphics If they were made to be at least two layers thick similar to the other small color blocks it would be perfect

It might also be because I used PETG instead of PLA, the gold and light blue in the red main body only had one layer, and the pattern was damaged

Quite good, it's just that filament changes drove me crazy, the plaque settings also need to be modified and optimized

Thanks for the support. There are indeed many filament changes, but I haven't thought of a much better way yet. One method is to print the side decorative panels separately, but then they would need to be glued on later
