Stronger together: A boost from you, a huge step for my next projects!
This 3D bookmark is inspired by my children's book „Sid – the Dragon with the Soap Bubbles“.
Sid is a small dragon with a big heart, magical soap bubbles, and a story about courage, friendship, self-confidence, and the small wonders hidden within each of us.
Little Sid-Insider:
A small error crept onto the cover of my first Sid book: Sid suddenly had three arms there. Instead of getting annoyed about it, I'm now turning it into a little running gag. That's why Sid gets to be out and about with a bit more dragon effort in both variants here too. Apparently, for soap bubbles, books, and adventures, you sometimes just need an extra hand. 🐉

This upload contains two print-ready variants:
Variant 1 – Simple Sid Bookmark
A clear, reduced black/white version with Sid, lettering, stars, and soap bubbles. This variant has a calmer design and is very suitable as an everyday bookmark.
Variant 2 – Intricate Sid Bookmark
A more detailed version with an ornamental frame, more stars, soap bubbles, and playful decorative elements. This variant appears somewhat more premium and is especially nice as a gift, a small book insert, or a collector's item for Sid fans.
The file is prepared as a print-ready 3MF. You can select which variant you want to print in BambuStudio.
Filaments Used
The following filaments were used for my test version:
- Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ Black
- Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ White
Of course, you can also use other black/white filaments.
Printing Instructions
- print-ready 3MF file
- prepared for BambuStudio
- print flat
- no supports needed
- ideal with AMS / multi-color printing
- recommended with 0.4mm nozzle
- smooth back, so the bookmark lies well in the book
Note
The bookmark is intended as a small addition to the book — for self-printing, gifting, or as a lovely extra for small and big Sid fans.
