Thank you very much for this great project. I deliberately did not print the attachment with normal PLA again, as PLA is far too brittle for the forces involved and the high speeds in my opinion. For safety reasons, I think it is therefore better to do without normal PLA. Instead, I used PLA-CF and achieved very good results with it. The double thread works cleanly and stably with it. I have now also printed the brush cutter attachment with eight threads for my Scheppach – it also fits very well. A small tip for other users: The 2 mm holes became slightly oval or collapsed a bit due to printing, so the cord no longer fit through cleanly. I therefore reworked the holes with a 2.5 mm drill bit, after which everything worked without problems. The practical test with the eight-thread attachment is yet to follow, but the initial impression so far is really very positive.

Thank you so much for your dedication and thorough description. I think it mows much better – but you'll have to judge for yourself. All you need to do is stock up on some string and tuck it into your pocket, and you can really unleash the brushcutter's potential. The attachment is lighter than a traditional reel attachment, so battery consumption is even lower. Best regards, and happy mowing! MakeBeGreat
