Description
The design of this bookmark was inspired by a famous quote from Liberation Theology: “If Jesus were alive today, he would be a guerrilla fighter.”
I wanted to use artistic design to commemorate a momentous period of history and hope to capture a fleeting moment of artistic inspiration from it.
I settled on a design style that blends Art Nouveau printmaking with Socialist Realism, featuring the red and gold colors commonly associated with the left, accented with blue and green.
The main colors used, aside from gold, are all official standard PLA colors from Bambu Lab, including Christmas Green, Sky Blue, and Red.
I used Polymaker’s gold filament, though Bambu Lab’s gold might be a bit brighter. (If you prefer.)
Regarding the profile settings, the images show the results with different nozzle sizes—I found that the print quality is better without enabling the “smoothing” option.
I used https://hicolors3d.com/ to tweak my model, which is a great website for creating bookmarks (and it's free!).
This bookmark isn’t meant to promote any particular ideology, so I’ve tagged it as “Easter”—it’s a derivative work.
Happy printing!
If you like it, please give it a thumbs-up!
