I designed this spool winder as optimal solution to use OEM spools in the dryer because printed spools can't handle too much heat. This is for Monofilament (Ukrainian brand) 0.75kg spools and other similar. Metal hex axle can be used - 6mm. PETG is recommended but PLA is alright. There's a 0.2mm sacrificial layer inside the hex hole. None supports required.
Axle and adapter tolerance 0.15mm. It should be more loose after first usage.
On practice spool dimension (distance between holes) may vary. I've tested this adapter, it fits tight or loose depending on the spool. Happy rewinding!
