You print many beautiful and practical objects, even textiles, clothes, and shoes - so why not print your own glasses and then have them glazed by an optician or cut plastic sunglass lenses yourself and snap them into the frame! Try it out - the glasses were designed by me, a professional in glasses design, and are very easy to print with my Bambu printer. I recommend ABS or PETG as printing material. You can also equip them with sunglass lenses without optical effect yourself. Simply search online for plastic sunglass lenses. You can cut them to size with a fine saw and file them precisely to the required shape and size. A paper template that you can glue onto the sunglass lenses for easier cutting is included in the downloadable data as assembly instructions. Please don't forget to add a “V” groove to the contour edges of the sunglass lenses so they hold well in the frame. If you don't want to fit the lenses yourself, or if you want lenses with optical effect in the glasses, then entrust this to your trusted optician. The glasses are designed so that an optician can easily equip them with your special lenses. For the assembly of the two spectacle temples, you need a piece of wire approx. 9 mm long with a diameter of 1 mm as an axis. On the underside, you can secure the wire in the frame with adhesive. The great thing is also, once you have a pair of lenses, you can print infinitely many glasses in different colors and your graphic design ideas and reuse the existing lenses again and again. Happy printing - next summer is coming - and you'll have your self-printed glasses with your lenses for the beach, ice cream parlor, and ... and ... and .... With these, you'll steal the show from every other “sun-ray-banner”!
