A new revision of the successful Sage / Breville 54mm Dosing Funnel 54mm. > Building on the popularity of the original design, V2 has been overhauled based on community feedback to provide a more professional, mess-free espresso workflow.
This 54mm dosing funnel is specifically engineered for the Sage/Breville lineup (Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino, etc.). It allows you to grind directly into your portafilter without the typical "coffee mountain" spilling over your tray.

Key Improvements in V2:
- Optimized Geometry & Curves: We have refined the exterior curves to provide a more premium, ergonomic feel. These adjustments also make the model significantly easier to 3D print, ensuring a smoother surface finish right off the build plate.
- Zero-Leaking Inner Partition: The internal sealing lip and partition have been completely overhauled. This new design creates a tighter, more seamless fit against the portafilter rim, ensuring that zero coffee grounds spill out or get trapped between the funnel and the basket.
- Enhanced Grinder Compatibility: The funnel features the necessary tabs to trigger the built-in grinder switch on Sage/Breville machines, allowing for hands-free operation.
- Sleek Aesthetic: A modernized silhouette that looks right at home sitting on top of your machine.
Tip: How to Trigger the Grinder
To activate the automatic grinding switch while using the funnel: Insert the portafilter into the cradle, tilt it slightly downwards, and push inward. This ensures the funnel tab makes solid contact with the internal trigger for a seamless, hands-free start.
Print Settings Recommendations:
- Material: PETG or PLA (PETG is recommended for better heat resistance and durability near the machine).
- Layer Height: 0.16mm - 0.2mm for smooth curves.
- Supports: Minimal supports may be needed for the locking tabs depending on your printer’s bridging capabilities.
