Description
I once bought a Purge Wiper for an A1 printer. I don't know why, as I don't have that printer. Finally, I decided to use it for my printer. There are many Purge Wiper designs for the Trident, but I didn't want my purchase to end up in the trash.
I tried triggering it with a printhead, but after many attempts, I decided on a servo. I used a powerful and inexpensive MZ996 (MG996R) servo from Amazon.
Parts list:
- 1x Purge Wiper for an A1 printer (arm needs to be cut off)
- 1x Servo MZ996
- 4x M3x16 SHCS
- 2x M3x8 SHCS
- 3x M3x12 SHCS
- 2x TNUT M3
- 2x Threaded Insert M3
Printed with ABS filament, 40% infill, 4 walls, 5 layers top, and 5 layers bottom.
