   • Design: The frame looks airy and perfectly showcases the inserted object.

Since the model is printed flat on its side, the surface setting is crucial for a high-quality look:

• Top Surface (Important): For a particularly smooth and professional surface, I strongly recommend activating the "Ironing" function for the top layer. Since the visible side is on top, the print lines almost completely disappear.
• Material: PLA (Matte colors look very elegant) or PETG.
• Walls: 3 to 4 walls ensure the necessary rigidity for the open frame.
• Infill: 15% (Gyroid) is sufficient.
• Supports: Not necessary.

• Weighting: For the hollow version, use a flat stone (e.g., pebbles from the hardware store or from your last walk) to make the bookend heavier. This looks great and increases functionality.
• Non-slip: The same applies here: Small rubber pads under the base prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.
• Size: The L-shape fits paperbacks and hardcovers equally.
