Description
These are 19 inch rack ears for the Behringer XAir XR18/UR18 digital mixer, 3U high.
I have them printed in PETG-HF in my rack. The provided print profile is designed for strength, including extra walls for rigidity and 0.56mm line width for good layer adhesion.
The ears are designed to recess the mixer into the rack providing space to leave in place any XLR plugs (for inputs and outputs). Two plates are provided, one with 80mm recess (original model for full depth racks) and the other with a 60mm recess (for shallower racks).
To connect the ears to the mixer:
- Remove the side bumpers from the mixer by undoing the four screws on each side of the mixer.
- Screw the ears onto each side of the mixer, using the screws from step 1.
- Mount the mixer with ears into a standard 19 inch rack.
