Kenku Miniature (DnD 5e Acc) - Birdfolk in Boots

This is a Kenku miniature I created for my DnD games. As many of you know, according to 5e lore, Kenku are flightless and tragically lost their wings—but it is surprisingly hard to find models that reflect this! Most "birdfolk" minis just look like generic bird-people with giant wings.

I want to be transparent: I used Gemini to generate the concept art and MakerLab to turn that into the 3D mesh you see here.

I know there is a lot of debate about AI art, but here is my take: I am not a traditional artist. I have zero skills with a pencil or sculpting clay. However, I am creative, and I have a clear vision of what I want to express.

This wasn't a "one-click" magic trick. This project took me several hours of wrestling with the AI. It turns out, convincing an AI to draw a bird without wings is incredibly difficult! It took a lot of iteration, refining, and "struggle" to get the concept right before I could even start printing.

These tools didn't replace an artist for me—because I was never going to be able to sculpt this myself. Instead, they gave me a way to finally get the ideas out of my head and onto the table.

This is a Kenku, designed to be strictly accurate to the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Monster Manual lore. Unlike many birdfolk models, this character is correctly depicted without wings, representing the flightless curse of the species.

This model is perfect for Tabletop RPGs, DnD campaigns, or as a unique NPC/monster pawn. 

The design features a rotund, raven-like physique wearing heavy boots, capturing the quirky yet dark aesthetic of the Kenku race.
