Makita DUB363 – Flat Nozzle / Nozzle Attachment for Original Tube (Slip-On)

With this flat nozzle attachment, you transform the Makita DUB363 into a real “air broom” 💨
The nozzle is simply slipped onto the original tube and creates a wide, flat air jet – perfect for the workshop, yard, and driveway.

Dimensions:

Height (Total): 250mm

Width (Total): 244mm

Air Outlet (Width/Length):  240mm / 10mm

Compatible with: Makita DUB363 (Original tube)
Assembly: Slip-on – no modification needed
Purpose: Wide air distribution for more efficient blowing away

Features

  • Flat air outlet for a wide air jet
  • Ideal for blowing away leaves, sawdust, dust, dirt etc.
  • Quickly assembled: sits as an attachment on the original tube
  • Stable construction – for long-lasting use (observe material recommendation)

3D Printing Recommendations

Material:

  • PETG (recommended)
  • ABS / ASA (if it needs to be more robust & temperature-resistant)
  • ⚠️ PLA works, but can become softer with heat / sun

Settings (Guide Value):

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls/perimeter: 3–4
  • Infill: 15–25% (Gyroid/Grid)
  • Top/Bottom: 4–5 Layers
  • Support: mostly not needed (depending on printer/orientation)
  • Brim: optional (for better adhesion)

Assembly & Fit

The nozzle is simply pushed onto the original tube and tightened.
Depending on printer tolerances, the fit may vary slightly:

🔧 Tip:

  • If too tight → lightly sand inside / use “elephant’s foot” correction
  • If too loose → a piece of tape on the tube or a thin strip of TPU/filament as a “seal” ← This was not necessary for me

Note

This is a 3D-printed accessory part and not an official Makita product. Use at your own risk.
