Description
I had issues with snow entering inside the body and short-circuiting the ESC and/or receiver so I lost drive until I dried and cleaned the ESC and receiver.
To weatherproof the electronics in the RC I made a small clip-on protection cover, to allow for extended running in snow or other wet conditions. Could run two fully charged batteries in the snow without any issues after I added this, without it would short-circuit in less than one minute, so works very well!
Very easy to snap in place, recommend starting over the receiver and then guide the cables carefully in the round holes, clip on over the on/off button on the ESC and finally push the snap-on on the receiver side.
