Hi,
I have created a phone/tablet holder for my Cupra Ateca year 21 seat. As seen in the pictures, it consists of several parts that can be easily sourced. For the screw connection, I used Allen screws (M6x60mm) and Phillips head screws (M6x40mm) for the phone holder, and 8 M6 nuts are also needed. I also got a holder from Ali that works for both phone and tablet, as a tablet should also fit when we drive further.
Material:
4 pieces Allen M6x60mm
2 pieces Phillips head screw M6x40mm
8 pieces M6 nuts
1 piece phone holder with M6 thread.
Assembly.
Press the M6 nuts into the recesses, the M6 40mm screw is needed for the phone holder so that it does not touch the seat, here the cover with the M6 nut goes over it to lock the holder. Mount the phone holder, then assemble everything into the seat by tightening the two Allen M6 screws. Now add the screw covers and it's done. I glued the screw covers for the Allen screws with a drop of glue, but only very little glue.
I hope you like it, my nerves were really frayed at times.
I would be very happy about a like or even a boost.
Unfortunately, I don't know if this works with other cutouts from other manufacturers!
Update!!!
The back plate is now also available with a ball for phone holders with 17mm and 25mm!
You can find them under Files, the 3mf is with balls for gluing in or you can remove them, the STL file is fixed.
3MF file is with Cupra cutout! For the STL file, it must be glued.
