Description
Automatic Door Holder
To hold, open the door and press it against the holder
To release, simply pull the door handle down
Easily replaceable if the handle ever changes.
If the door needed to stay open, I found it annoying to use any objects nearby for that purpose.
There were hardly any models for door handle holders, and if there were, they required screws. Since I prefer adhesive mounting, I developed one myself from scratch.
When opening, the door handle automatically snaps into the recess, thus holding the door open.
Additionally, and also for more stable printing, I designed it in two parts.
Designed as a dovetail, the hook can be replaced if needed. Should the handle ever change, the new hook can simply be slid on. The connection is extremely firm and tight when sliding it on, so unintended detachment is not possible.
The adhered base plate can thus remain on the wall.
