🐒 Flexi-Katta: The Movable Lemur for Your Desk!
Get this charming, articulated ring-tailed lemur right from your print bed! This little guy is not only an eye-catcher with his iconic long tail but also a perfect fidget toy. Thanks to the "Print-in-Place" design, it is fully articulated
🛠️ Print Recommendations:
- Layer Height: For maximum detail and smooth curves, I recommend 0.16mm
- Speed Tip: If you need it fast, printing at 0.20mm layer height is also easily possible
- Stability: I strongly recommend using 4 walls. This ensures significantly more stable joints and prevents them from breaking under stress
- Material: PLA (Silk or Dual-Color filaments look especially great)
✨ The Special Touch (The Eyes):
For the perfect look as shown in the photos, I used googly eyes. This gives the little one a great expression and makes it even more lively
⚠️ Important Notes After Printing:
- Loosen Joints: After cooling, carefully move the individual segments of the body and tail back and forth to loosen the joints
- Finishing: Carefully remove any small support remnants (if present), preferably with tweezers or small pliers, so that the joints can achieve their full range of motion
