DIY Desk Lamp for the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001 – compatible with MHS-MS modular mounting system
This Do-It-Yourself desk lamp was specifically developed for the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001 and combines functional light with a flexible, modular design. It is ideal for workstations, workbenches, and 3D printing environments.
The lamp is fully compatible with all base modules of my mounting system and can be mounted in various ways. With the help of a 30° T-slot nut, it can be integrated directly into, for example, the recessed base module. Alternatively, vertical mounting is possible, for which one naturally chooses the vertical T-slot nut, for example, with clamp base modules or screw base modules.
Thanks to its modular design, the lamp's orientation can be individually adjusted so that the light reaches exactly where it is needed. This makes it the ideal solution for anyone who wants to make their desk lighting flexible, expandable, and DIY-friendly.

Required Mounting Hardware:
The following parts are required for mounting:
- 2× M4x10 countersunk screws
- 1× M5x6 grub screw
- 1× M4x6 grub screw
- 1× metal rod or tube 6mm diameter (e.g., made of brass or aluminum)
- M4 and M5 taps (preferably machine taps)
- Suitable tools depending on screw choice

The metal rod can be individually chosen and is not rigidly specified. Both solid material and tube material are possible, as well as length and bending, so that the system can be flexibly adapted to the respective requirements.
