I used a two tone blue and red silk PLA for this print. The print takes three pairs of these  20mm x 5mm x 2mm magnets. The magnets are a very snug fit so make sure you have the polarities aligned before securing. I recommend pressing magnets into the slots in the base. Place a magnet on top of each magnet that's in the base, then pressing the lid down firmly onto the magnets. While not necessary, you can secure further with a strong adhesive such as Loctite.

While the lid and base will both fit on one plate, I still suggest printing them separately if you're going to use a dual color silk filament. If you print them together you end up with very noticeable color shift on the base once the lid is done.
