This is my 3D Printable Snow Plow for the Traxxas TRX-4 RC rock crawler. I'm including two size plow blades, a standard 260mm wide blade, as well as an oversized 280mm wide blade. The 260mm blade should be wide enough for a stock width TRX4, but I added the wider 280mm blade for those running wide offset wheels like I am.

This TRX-4 snow plow is designed to bolt in place of the stock front bumper using the stock mounting hardware. A standard 1/10 scale RC servo secures to the plow mount, allowing you to remotely raise and lower the plow. A small chain can be used to connect the servo to the plow frame, but I'm including an optional lift link for those who don't want to search for a chain. Much like a full size snow plow, two small springs are used as shock dampers. I'm also including solid 3D printable spring rods for those who would rather not search for proper sized springs.

The entire thing is assembled with ordinary M3 screws. You'll need four (4) M3x25mm screws to bolt the blade to the frame, and the frame to the mount. You'll also need seven (7) M3x12mm screws to attach the two blade halves together, as well as mounting the springs and chain. Lastly, you'll need five (5) M3x6mm screws to attach the servo to the mount and the chain to your servo horn. If you chose to use springs as dampers, you'll need two roughly 45mm long springs with loops on each end. Slightly shorter springs should work. There are two optional screw holes on the bottom of the blades. Theses accept two (2) M3x2mm flat head countersunk type screws which act as skids to reduce wear on the bottom of the blades. If you have a hard time finding M3x2mm flathead screws, you can cut down longer M3 screws to fit.
