Hey,

my version of a toothpick dispenser in a cactus design was quite well received by you… thanks for that!! Some time ago, @Diplomator then gave me the idea to adapt the dispenser for my pots so that you can choose the pot yourself. The space where the pot drip tray usually is can now be used with a special container (also in the print profile) for storing the remaining toothpicks (thanks @Dirty_Epic for this idea).

This cactus is designed for 80mm long toothpicks with a 2mm diameter. However, in the print profile, you will also find a version for 65mm long toothpicks. Are there any other toothpicks??? When creating the new version, I revised the entire design and added some Poka Yoke mechanisms so that the cactus cannot be assembled incorrectly or twisted. Be sure to watch the video for assembly!

In the print profile, I have two plates with the cactus, on one of which I have planned recesses for inserting magnets (6x3mm) into the cactus tip, because I intend to draw some flowers that will hold magnetically. So you can insert as many magnets as you want to attach flowers to the top (2 or 3 are completely sufficient!), or you can simply leave it and print the cactus as shown in the pictures.

For the screw heads of the long screws, you will need a small dab of superglue, but otherwise, everything is included. Here are the instructions:

this was a super fun print to put together! the inner push tube is a bit sticky when I push the baby down and doesn't push back but nothing detrimental. I tried using a different pot pritn that I liked and it's a bit loose inside, trying to determine how to make it sit still?

There is always a version without a wall mount in the print profile. If not, just let me know and I'll create a profile 🙂

Sorry, I am trying to print this with one of the other pots you have made. Can you make a guide on how to use it with the pot shown in the picture?

hello! Is it possible that when printing the gear for automatic up and down movement, the tolerances do not allow it? there is a lot of friction and it gets stuck Thank you!
