Description
We like to buy cut or loose-leaf lettuce with root balls.
This lettuce can continue to be watered, thus staying fresh longer and can also regrow.
However, a suitable container for better storage was always missing, as it only comes packaged in foil.
I have now designed a pot for the root ball.
Depending on the supplier, the root ball fits into the pot with more or less force.
Ours are usually 55x55mm.
This way, the lettuce stays fresh longer and can be well-watered and stored.
A simple and sustainable way to reduce food waste and have fresh lettuce directly in your own kitchen.
