PTFE cables are prone to wear during use due to contact with equipment components, especially from prolonged friction with the top glass and upward friction of the rear cable when the print head retracts, all of which significantly impact the cable's lifespan

To address this, I designed a dual anti-wear solution:

  • Cable holder: Precisely fixes the cable position, eliminating upward friction with the top glass and preventing wear from the source
  • Chain clip: Addresses the issue of the rear cable lifting when the print head retracts, firmly securing the cable and preventing it from rubbing against surrounding components

This set of anti-wear parts is specifically designed for scenarios where PTFE cables are prone to wear, is easy to install, and can effectively extend the cable's lifespan, making your equipment run more stably and last longer

Important note: At least PETG filament should be used for printing; if possible, print with ABS/ASA or higher, otherwise the chamber top temperature will thermally deform PLA when printing engineering filaments
