Description

The spinner arm for the upper basket on our Beko dishwasher kept getting stuck on the basket while spinning. This was stopping items in the upper basket from getting cleaned properly.

I made this extender/adapter ring that adds 8mm of clearance between the spinner and the bottom of the basket.

Outcome: the spinner now spins freely, and the items in the upper basket are cleaned properly.

NOTE: It's recommended to print in a higher temperature material than PLA as material softening could occur on higher temperature cleaning cycles.

I hope someone else finds this useful.

I printed the ring in ABS. It was a bit tight, probably due to shrinking after printing. Perhaps you should print it one or two percent larger. Now the dishwasher seems to be working again. Thanks, great model!
