Design
The hood is designed for the Aqara motion sensor P1 (2nd generation – height under the measuring field 15mm) and only fits this device

 

Purpose
This hood serves to adapt the color of the motion detector and its attachment to local conditions. The mount roughly corresponds to the dimensions of the original mount. 26 mm plate diameter and approx 40 mm height. This always ensures access to the battery compartment, just like with the original mount. The hood and mount increase the WAF by 100%, as the motion detectors are less conspicuous. Printing
I used PLA Basic from BambuLab for printing. PLA from other manufacturers should also work without problems. For other materials such as PETG, please note that the shrinkage factor can be different, and thus the dimensions may no longer be accurate. For the parts of the holder, I chose the print by object option, as the curves of the ball and socket turned out better this way. For the hood, an overhang structure is necessary, but it can be removed very well even without support material

 

Assembly
Either simply place it on a shelf or attach it with 25mm adhesive pads to a suitable surface
