Hotend Cleaning Upgrade for H2S Printer

The new H2S printer once again impresses with strong performance and precise printing behavior – but a small weakness became apparent to me during hotend cleaning.
That's why I developed an optimized cleaning system, inspired by the well-thought-out concept of the H2D.

The upgrade consists of a newly designed cleaning holder with rubber wipers (available via Aliexpress, see link below). The construction is Plug & Play and can be easily assembled with the existing screws.

Additionally, the system includes a front scraper/cutter, which reliably removes excess filament ("poops") before the actual cleaning – for a clean and efficient cleaning.

I have also adapted this file for the X1C, so that this hotend is also optimally cleaned.

Note:
Use ABS material for printing to avoid sticking when used with ABS or PETG.

Thanks, those at Bambu are crazy, they should have built it like this from the start, why this cheap purge wiper station for which there are no spare parts, only as a whole unit 😤 you ruined my Sunday, I was so angry I thought about packing up the h2s and sending it back. printed in petg cf 0.2mm

Works great. I printed it using ABS filament. Wipers were easy to obtain. (Do not over tighten screws. It can Interfere with inner mechanism.)

Great add on I am only on my 3rd print with this in place. I printed two since the wiper has to be glued in I wanted to have a space. I look forward to seeing how long it will last. I printed this in Overture ASA.

Printed in ABS and with a little super glue to hold the silicone cleaner in place... Perfect!

I had the same experience, even with the original it was a real problem.. I glued it firmly with superglue.. since then no more slipping out, neither with the H2D nor with the X1C or H2S

I don’t know what kind of black magic went into designing this but it is truly one of the best prints I’ve printed. I haven’t had a poop fling from the wiper, I haven’t had a clump stuck in perfect wiper or the chute it works just like you’d hope. Printed in ASA beautifully.

Were your poops getting stuck on the top of the chute/door? If I do anything remotely multi-color, the poops get hung on the very top, not inside the chute and it clogs.
